Administrative Specialist

Local radio stations are seeking an experienced dependable administrative specialist. Duties include but not limited to: Greeting and directing visitors and new staff to the station, Answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff, Scheduling meetings and appointments, Taking notes and minutes in meetings, Ordering and taking stock of office supplies, Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders, Preparing documents for meetings and business trips, Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries, Writing and issuing emails to teams and departments on behalf of teams or senior staff, Researching and booking travel arrangements for staff members, and Finding ways to improve administrative processes. On-Air Talent

WFMV is looking for a Host for The Sunday Urban Scene. This public affairs program is an in-depth conversation on current issues of general interest to our overall audience.

A few of the Host Duties:

  • The show host is responsible for planning and coordinating the weekly show topics based on Ascertainment responses; timely, newsworthy or trending subject matter; or, general ‘need to know’ informational importance
  • Host will seek out and contact guests for each weekly show and topic
  • Host will schedule and coordinate the recording of guests for each show and edit/produce that recording for the allotted time parameters.

Bookeeper 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and experienced with accounting software.

Responsibilities:

  • Record and reconcile transactions
  • Manage accounts payable & receivable
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Assist with payroll and tax documentation
  • Maintain accurate financial records

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar software)
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication skills

Gospel leader WFMV Columbia, SC is looking for talent to build a long-term successful show that will become a compelling start to the weekend for our audience. Glory Communications is looking for highly engaging, killer communicators now. You must have a winning attitude and work well as part of a team. You should know how to communicate with adult women and have a proven track record of success. Requirements: Minimum 5 year professional on-air experience. Understand and communicate the station brand along with broad knowledge of Urban Inspirational and Gospel music as well as the Christian culture.
